Michele Snyder is the Founder/Chief Executive Officer of Empowered to Change International, Inc. Empowered to Change International, Inc. is a community-based human services non-profit organization that spans across Florida and abroad that reaches the vulnerable in communities.

She is responsible for ensuring the success of the organization’s mission. She provides leadership in engaging, serving, and advancing the interest of those in communities that often face disenfranchisement and disparities. She focuses on bridging the gap between public organizations, the Judicial System, and public officials to bring community investment at the fore front of conversations. She holds the fiduciary responsibility of this debt free organization, while continuing to build the resources needed for a thriving future. Empowered to Change International, Inc, grew over 800% within five years of being founded and continues to grow despite pandemic challenges.

She has contributed widely to the development of senior managerial roles in strategic planning and visioning. She builds relationships and creates partnering opportunities in communities. She thrives in attracting new donor memberships and new business developments to maintain the mission moving forward in changing lives. Michele looks to the use of technology to advance the organization, event turnaround, and program management.

Michele has been working in the community assisting with crisis intervention for twenty years. Prior to Empowered to Change International, Inc, Michele brought experience from her career in Law Enforcement as an Emergency Dispatcher. She later became a supervisor in a South Georgia Emergency Management Communications Center. Michele’s passion for community empowerment started as a young girl and grew as she interacted with law enforcement and watched the challenges in the community grow critically. She knew that real intervention must come from a place of unification between law enforcement, the judicial system, legislation, and key community leaders. Michele knows that unification is the only means that will bring about a societal system that not only works in tandem with each other but also transforms our society removing barriers that often prevents the growth of the vulnerable. She has an expertise that brings non-profit organizations in a critical state to a table that confronts their differences and empowers the organizations to continue the mission serving communities with integrity.

Michele left law enforcement and joined the financial sector where she learned key financial principles in the corporate world. Finally entering the courtroom, Michele advocates for men and women who need hope and a future.

Michele reaches from the depths of her own life story to teach and coach those in crisis to become independent, financially stable, and self-sufficient individuals who become productive members of society. She works countless hours each week to expose truth in love and then to encourage the participants of ETC to move beyond their current circumstances and begin to walk out their own vision for their life. Michele is an avid conference and public speaker. She has a passion for assisting new organizations by helping them launch their mission.

Michele holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with an emphasis on Sociology in Interdisciplinary Studies and an Associates of Science Degree in Criminal Justice
