Hi, I’m Tawny!

I’m a global-minded girl with a passion for ending poverty, human trafficking, & keeping mamas with their babies. I’m a Jesus follower, wife, Adult ESL Teacher, Photographer, World-traveler & more!
My husband and I have been involved with ministry our whole marriage, both globally & in the USA! I love that TOH allows me to support families around the world while also earning an income & increasing my impact by sharing why Fair Trade & sustainable jobs are so important!

I was a broke, fresh-out-of-Bible-college grad with a huge heart for other cultures who wanted to make an impact in the world… but I was lacking some important things. Money and time. I didn’t have the extra funds to be able to give to world missions, and my husband and I weren’t quite ready to go onto the international mission field.

I had been part of an MLM company that I lost my passion for. I was feeling selfish and dirty being part of a company that was all about making money, earning lavish vacations, fancy cars, & expensive gifts. Then Trades of Hope came into my life! NOW the work I did equaled LIVES CHANGED. I’ve loved going to events & seeing my impact, meeting like-minded entrepreneurs, taking beautiful photos, AND even going to visit some of our artisans in Haiti in my first year as a Partner! I thank God every day for leading me to the RIGHT company for me and my family.
